Like most every industry in America, the music business has changed dramatically over the last 30 years.  Everything from the way record deals are negotiated to how music is distributed is very different than it once was. 

But that's okay, because to have progress, we must be able to change with the times.  That's not always comfortable or easy to do. And it certainly takes some time to get used to a new way of handling things.  But once we adapt, we usually see that things aren't as difficult or as complicated as they may have appeared.

By nature, I am constantly seeking out ways in which I can help others, especially performers, learn and grow.  So creating this Web site, teleseminars and other educational materials about making it in today's music industry seemed like a pretty good way to accomplish that. 

As a recording artist and music executive, I have learned hard lessons about the trials and pitfalls along an entertainer's path.  I've also uncovered many gleaming nuggets of wisdom that have guided me with every step.
